  Dr. Howard Fine, Naturopathic Physician --- Specializing In Classical Homeopathy

   Dr. Fine attended both UC Berkeley and UCLA as an undergraduate, receiving a BA in Psychology in 1969. His graduate work in Psychobiology and Physiology eventually led him to realize his life's work: Naturopathic Medicine. In 1978, he earned his doctorate from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, in Portland, Oregon, graduating Summa Cum Laude. After graduating from NCNM, he chose to specialize in Homeopathy because of its truly holistic approach to healing: the individualization of treatment- not of a disease, but of the whole person.

   He has had a homeopathic practice in Coos Bay, Oregon and Boulder, Colorado-finally settling in Westport, Connecticut  in 1989, where he has had a homeopathic practice until 2007. Seeking the sun and people interested in alternative health, he and his family moved to California.        

    In addition to his practice, he has been an adjunct professor of Homeopathy and a supervisor in the homeopathic outpatient clinic at the College of Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut.  During his nearly 30 years of practice, he has done extensive post-graduate training with some of the world's top Homeopaths, including George Vithoulkas, Rajan Sankaran and Farokh Master.

 Dr. Fine feels, in a sense,  that this area of California chose him. The interest in alternative healing is very evident here, and Dr. Fine would like to participate with patients in their pursuit of healthful alternatives to allopathic (conventional) medical treatment .
